GUIDE
How to print custom card sheets at home
A good printable sheet starts with the right image, a predictable layout, and paper settings that match your printer.
1. Prepare your images
Use clear JPG or PNG files. An image close to the proportions of a standard card will look best. If you use a different shape, the generator will fit it into the card area, so preview the layout before downloading the PDF.
2. Choose the right paper size
Choose A4 for most international printers or US Letter for North American paper. ProxyPrnt.it lays out nine cards per page and centres the grid automatically.
3. Enable cut guides when needed
Cut guides add a light grid to the sheet. They are useful when trimming cards with a paper cutter or ruler. Turn them off when you prefer a clean edge-to-edge layout.
4. Prepare double-sided sheets
Enable two-sided printing to create a matching page of mirrored card backs. Check the preview first, then use your printer’s long-edge flip option when printing both sides.
5. Test one page first
Printer scaling can change physical dimensions. Print one test page at 100% or “actual size” before printing a complete deck, and avoid options such as “fit to page”.
